Structural Efficiency Penalty

Over-designed elements are structurally safe but financially wasteful. OptiDesign links each element's capacity ratio directly to its material cost in the SSD score — making structural waste visible as money.

  • Optimal CR ≥ 0.80: no penalty (1.0×)
  • Caution CR 0.50–0.80: up to 1.25× cost multiplier
  • Severe waste CR < 0.30: up to 1.50× cost multiplier
